SafeHat is a soft and comfortable beanie with integrated impact protection, designed for an active everyday life filled with play, movement and exploration. The thin, flexible protection allows children to play and explore the world just as they normally would.
Inside the beanie is LAYR – our unique protective technology, just 5 mm thin. LAYR absorbs and disperses some of the force from minor falls and impacts and is discreetly integrated across the forehead and back of the head – two areas particularly exposed to impact – without compromising comfort or fit.
The product has been tested and certified as Category II PPE in accordance with the PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425. It does not replace a helmet or other protective equipment and is intended for minor falls and impacts.
Important to know
- OICAN products are designed to be worn as everyday clothing and are developed for minor falls and impacts that may occur in everyday life.
- The products do not replace a CE-marked protective helmet or other certified protective equipment. Whenever a helmet is recommended or required, a CE-marked helmet should always be worn.
- To ensure the protection covers the intended areas, it is important that the product is worn and positioned correctly. Always follow the instructions for use provided with the product.
- No protective product can eliminate the risk of injury.

We want your SafeHat to fit perfectly. That’s why we offer free exchanges within Sweden for 14 days.
You have 14 days from receiving your order to request a return. Products must be unused and returned in their original packaging.
Return & exchange fees:

- Returns within Sweden: 79 SEK
- Returns or exchanges outside Sweden: 99 SEK (approx. €9)
